By Balloch, Lomond Woods Holiday Park offers tourer or chalet accommodation but sadly no tent camping. Ardoch House near Strathblane also offers camping facilities in the grounds of the hotel. Many of their customers use the site to start their trek on the West Highland Way, so they're well prepared for walkers! Auchengillan Outdoor Centre near Blanefield caters for badged or organised young people's groups (Brownies, Guides, etc.) so if you're part of an organised event, book them up. A new campsite has opened up near Twechar but booking is essential as it's small yet perfectly suited to walkers and cyclists. Spoke'n'Boot offer warm camping pods near Falkirk, while The Wheel campsite offers camping and caravans not far from the Falkirk Wheel. Loch House Farm Caravan Park is a small family-run site that welcomes backpackers, and Beecraigs Country Park also offers camping with tents but only in the summer season. Further east you are spoiled for choice with a good selection of sites, mostly based near the coast. Prestonpans, Seton Sands, Aberlady, Dirleton and North Berwick all provide camping opportunities, and the sites are hyperlinked below. Finally, at the end of your journey, Dunbar offers a choice of sites to pitch at and enjoy your celebratory glass.
