Fixed Term – 2 year post

(£26,000 - £29,000 per annum)

The Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) seeks to change the face of Central Scotland, by restoring and transforming the landscape of an area stretching from Ayrshire and Inverclyde in the west, to Fife and the Lothians in the east.

The John Muir Way (JMW) is a flagship CSGN project. The route traverses across 134 miles of the heartland of Scotland offering a unique journey through the country’s natural, cultural and industrial heritage. It links towns, villages, countryside, coast, historical sites, natural landscapes and visitor attractions. The route is one of Scotland’s Great Trails, suitable for walkers and cyclists.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to develop and deliver the John Muir Way Marketing and Business Engagement Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of partners, local businesses and other stakeholders to promote the route as a key tourism asset in order to achieve a greater share of the large and growing market for walking and cycling tourism in Scotland.

This is a two year fixed term post (35 hours per week) based in our offices in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. Travel within Central Scotland will be required; a clean driving licence and access to a car are essential.
